General’s Private Secretary To The CID

Dr. Senaka de Silva, Private Secretary to Gen. Sarath Fonseka, who was abducted with the General yesterday (8th) night by Military Police has been handed over to the CID say reports.

Gen. Fonseka and Dr. Senaka de Silva were abducted by Military Police last night while they were engaged in a friendly discussion with leaders of political parties that supported Gen. Fonseka at the presidential election.  

Dr. Senaka de Silva was a captain of the STF and had retired from service several years ago.
