Cutouts of President in Kelaniya remain intact as Police under political pressure

Despite orders from the Inspector General of Police Mahinda Balasuriya to remove election cutouts the Police in the Kelaniya area have refrained from removing cutouts of UPFA presidential candidiate Mahinda Rajapaksa due to political pressure, sources said.
Though most cutouts have been removed in the Colombo area, the cutouts of the President remained intact due to political pressure on the police.| This article has been read 577 times |
